PODC Vice President Bert Eyler spent the day sitting down with a number of U.S. Representatives and their staff to discuss important law enforcement legislation and the importance of the LEO Caucus.

Congressman Fry is currently is on HR-233 and HR-743. He is considering signing our America’s Law Enforcement Pledge and reviewing our other priority legislation. Congresswoman Nancy Mace has signed onto HR-3170, and Mr. Eyler discussed other legislation and asked for her to consider endorsing our pledge as well.

Mr. Eyler also had a great meeting with a staff member of Congressman John Jocye, who is not currently on any of the HR bills that we are focused on, although he is considering co-sponsoring some of our legislation. His last meeting was in Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s fffice. She is currently on HR-355, HR- 743, and HR-957. We thanked her for her continued support of law enforcement and asked her to sign onto our America’s Law Enforcement pledge.
