Police Officers’ Defense Coalition met with a staff member from Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis’s office. Vice President Bert Eyler thanked them for all the support the Congresswoman gives to the LEO family. She has signed onto HR.233, HR. 743, HR.1322, and H.R.3170 and currently serves on the LEO Caucus. We went over our other important LEO focused legislation and asked her to join her colleagues in signing America’s Law Enforcement pledge. 

We also had a meeting in Congressman Mike Carey’s office. He is already signed onto HR. 233 and HR.743. Rep. Carey has also signed America’s Law Enforcement pledge. We encouraged Congressman Carey to support our other prioritized legislation and to sit on the LEO Caucus.

Our last meeting of the day was with Congressman Chuck Edwards’ office. He is on HR.743 and HR.7581. He is considering co-sponsor some of our other priority legislation as well as joining the LEO Caucus. We also urged him to sign our pledge.
