[07/14/24, BUTLER, PA] – Police Officers’ Defense Coalition Vice President Bert Eyler made a statement this morning on the attempted assassination of Presidential Candidate and Former President Donald J. Trump. He commented:
July 13, 2024, is a day that will be remembered for unveiling the deceitful agenda threatening the American Dream. The vermin that had been lurking in the shadows of hell have finally shown their true colors. The strength of Donald Trump rising from behind the podium on national television, fist-raised blood running down his face, and shouting “fight, fight, fight” should inspire all Americans and the world. America will not succumb to the tyranny of injustice easily.
Yesterday, with a massive crowd of over 40 thousand, several were wounded in the crowd, and one attendee was shot and killed at the hands of the sniper (we pray for him and his family), but the inevitable didn’t happen. No one was trampled by the people who remained stable and kneeled down on the ground after feeling the power of Trump’s Raised clenched fist, raised like the Statue of Liberty’s Raised Torch saying, “Fight, Fight, Fight!”
However, the darkness grows as we learn that the Secret Service seemingly does not have enough of a presence to cover all of the nearby buildings. Law enforcement didn’t follow up on the fact that they were warned by attendees that an armed man was seen going up a ladder to a building that wasn’t watched by the Secret Service- then the crowd apparently saw the sniper before the Secret Service and after the first shot that glazed Trump’s ear and several shots from the sniper’s gun are fired then the sniper is finally taken out.
He continued:
I believe that our law enforcement agencies need help in order to complete the functionality of their assigned missions. Since 2015, the mission of law enforcement agencies has been depleted through threats of punishment from the system if they work as trained, the threat of death by ambush, and not having backup from superiors if needed. The “War on Cops” looms on! Threats from the street, poor training and equipment accompanied by a system that would rather prosecute a cop than a criminal.
